How Bizarre, New Zealand’s biggest selling record of all time, was written by OMC (Otara’s Millionaires Club) front man Pauly Fuemana who is of Niuean and Maori descent.

It went to number one in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Ireland, South Africa and Austria. It topped the United States airplay charts and was number two on the Billboard Top 100. It peaked at number five in the United Kingdom, and it made the Top 10 everywhere from Portugal to Israel. Between 1995 and 2000 OMC sold between three and four million copies worldwide.

Pauly died in Auckland in January 2010 from a rare auto-immune disorder similar to the nerve disease multiple sclerosis.
